Position Overview:
HIAM is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to help expand our market presence and drive growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of innovation solutions, and a strategic approach to identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. As a Business Development Manager at HIAM, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting organizations with our innovation assessment models and consulting services, empowering clients to unlock their full innovation potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion and Strategy:
- Identify and target new business opportunities across industries, aligning with HIAM’s growth objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand HIAM’s client base, focusing on high-value partnerships and long-term growth.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, fostering trust and alignment with client needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client challenges and positioning HIAM’s solutions to address their unique goals and drive value.
- Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Lead end-to-end sales processes, from prospecting and lead qualification to closing deals and onboarding clients.
- Achieve revenue targets by generating sales pipeline opportunities and converting leads into clients, meeting or exceeding quarterly sales goals.
- Collaborative Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Research, Product, and Project Management, to develop tailored proposals and presentations that meet client objectives.
- Lead presentations and pitches to prospective clients, showcasing HIAM’s value proposition and innovation model benefits.
- Market Insights and Trend Analysis:
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to position HIAM effectively within the innovation consulting landscape.
- Provide feedback to HIAM’s leadership on market needs, helping to refine our services and align with client expectations.
- Networking and Brand Building:
- Represent HIAM at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase brand awareness and establish thought leadership.
- Develop partnerships with relevant industry associations and networks to enhance HIAM’s visibility and influence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or additional certifications in sales or business development is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in consulting, innovation, or technology services.
- Strong understanding of strategic innovation and business growth frameworks, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
